ABOUT US
We are an artistic company from Prague led by choreographer Věra Ondrašíková. We create productions that blend contemporary dance and visual art, focusing on a powerful visual experience and the exploration of current themes.
The collective brings together performers, musicians, and lighting designers and presents original projects on the Czech and international stages. In addition to our creative work, we also organize master classes, choreography workshops, and contemporary dance workshops.

The company Věra Ondrašíková & collective is one of the leading companies in contemporary dance and movement theater. Our productions are the result of long-term preparation and collaboration, which allows us to create without pressure to produce quantity, while emphasizing quality and depth. Thanks to this approach, the company’s productions are regularly presented at major Czech and international festivals, where they receive critical acclaim and contribute to a positive perception of Czech contemporary dance abroad.
The company has long been committed to creating original dance-theater productions that combine contemporary dance with striking visuals and powerful original music. The goal is to appeal to both the professional community and a broad spectrum of audiences in the Czech Republic and abroad, including young audiences, for whom the company has been developing special formats in recent years.
The vision and mission of the Věra Ondrašíková & collective company are based on a thorough understanding of the evolving needs of our audience. We systematically monitor these needs and respond to them not only through our choice of themes, but also through our approach to staging and the way we communicate with our audience.
We strive to build a long-term relationship with our audience, whom we view as active partners in an artistic dialogue.
We regularly collaborate with artistic directors Marta Ljubková and Daniel Iemolo, musician Filip Míšek, lighting designer Pavel Kotlík, and programmer Michal Rydlo.
The company collaborates with prominent dancers from the Czech and international dance scenes such as Jaro Ondruš, David Králík, Jakub Kohout, Josef Kotěšovský (recipient of the Thálie Award for lifetime achievement in ballet, dance, and physical theater), Fanny Bašista, Markéta Děrgelová, and others.
We collaborate with artists across generations, from emerging professionals to established performers.
